Renee Fischer and Carla Manna are the founders of Neela Products. Friends for nearly 20 years, the two originally hail from North Carolina and have remained in constant contact over the years, despite now living on different coasts. They have always dreamed of working together -- doing something fun, creative and good for the world.

Over the last few years, Renee and Carla have each increasingly wanted to live a more environmentally aware lifestyle. But along with many of their friends, they were a bit intimidated by what seemed like many extreme changes required to “live green.” Then they decided it didn’t have to be so hard – if we all started making even small changes in our daily routines, it could add up to big change for the environment. Combining Carla’s experience in textiles and Renee’s background in business management, the two joined forces to develop stylish, well-made products that will help regular people live a little more green. Then, they combined their names, and….Neela Products was born!

Neela’s first product is a line of fashionable reusable bags, designed to reduce excess consumption of paper and plastic bags. Carla and Renee pore over textile patterns, colors, and bag designs to continually offer fresh original designs for practical uses. Whether you’re heading out to the grocery store, the gym or the mall, carrying Neela bags instead of paper or plastic is a great way to make a difference…without sacrificing style or convenience!
